Running wine-version (Working directory : /home/ed/.PlayOnLinux) I'll go ahead and post the error log below: CD-Key works because it worked for the install when I tried to use Wine directly. I think it's failing because it needs the CD-Key, but it never prompts me for it and I can't figure out how to use it. Install fails outright when attempting to install via POL. Then I reinstalled Wine 1.6.1 (sudo apt-get install wine) and POL (sudo apt-get install playonlinux). I removed Wine and my Armies of Exigo installation. After reading a bunch of posts and not really understanding what I was reading (mostly they didn't pertain to my specific problem) I found a post saying I should try Play on Linux because it's easier to navigate. After it installed I couldn't get it running. Had a bit of trouble getting Wine to recognize the second CD, but I found if I just mounted it again (thus indicating AOXCD2 instead of AOXCD1) it worked fine. It asked me for my CD-Key and everything. I already tried using Wine 1.6.1 and the installation appeared to go well. I just wanted to see if I could get it running in Ubuntu 13.10. I'm currently using POL 4.2.1 and I'm attempting to install Armies of Exigo from CD's I bought a long time ago.
